Your fishing brief and email

Email is optional. You can use a fishing brief without giving us an email address.

Optional analytics cookies

If you choose Allow analytics, we use Google Analytics (G-NDSMK4BLJ9) to understand visits and site usage. Google receives standard browser and device information and uses analytics cookies. We remove query strings and fragments from page addresses and use general page titles; we do not send your email address, booking reference or selected fishing coordinates as analytics event fields. Advertising features are disabled.

Choose No thanks to continue without analytics. You can change your choice using Cookie settings on the map or booking page. We remember that choice for 180 days. This choice is separate from email updates and marketing consent. See Google’s privacy policy.

What we use

When you request an email, FlyFishIntel stores your email address, the requested brief and trip details so we can deliver it. If you separately request a pre-trip update, we use the location, date, species and water type to prepare that update about 48 hours before your trip. Trips closer than that do not get a separate scheduled update.

Your choices

Marketing is a separate choice and starts only after you confirm it by email. We record your choices and their dates. Each email has a link to stop marketing or pending trip updates. Unsubscribing from optional emails does not cancel the brief you specifically requested.

Delivery and storage

Resend processes email addresses and message content, including the selected location map, to send these emails. OpenFreeMap supplies map data for the selected area; no email address is sent to the map provider. Delivery records distinguish acceptance by Resend from arrival in your inbox. Briefs and precise trip details are removed from our email queue within 30 days after completion or cancellation. Temporary unrequested brief copies expire after 24 hours. Basic delivery and consent records are kept for up to 24 months; confirmed marketing contacts are retained while subscribed. Unconfirmed or transactional-only contacts are removed after 90 days without an outstanding trip update. Provider retention is governed by Resend’s privacy policy.
